Creating this building and location was originally on my list of requirements for the village remake but as I began to write more of a back story for it this became essential. The village has a history that was lost but not entirely gone and I wanted to show that with this more traditional Khmer-style building. This building also allowed me to leverage the power of timesheets and how they can help you texture things smarter. The story has the potential for flashback scenes of the building in both a new and worn-out state and being able to simply switch between trimsheets makes that much more trivial of a task if I go down that route.
