Overview

Working for Room 8 as freelance foliage Artist had me create a variety of plants for various different projects, this project i have code named Planet Eden as I wasnt never told the actual title for NDA reasons. This particular contract had me create a variety of Alien Plants targetted towards the Unreal 5 engine with a platform Target of PS4, PS5 and Xbox.

The Alien plants are all atlased to one 4096 x 4096 Texture set
PBR Texture Set Consiting of:
- Albedo
- Normal DrX and OGL versions
- Packed MSR Surface Maps (Metallic, Specular and Roughness)
- Packed Subsurface Scattering (SSS Color RGB, SSS Mask)
- Emissive
- Alpha Mask

Concept Expansion

I was provided with the a Concept Sheet of 4 different plants to create. I took this concept sheet later and with a combination of digital painting and AI Generative techniques expanded on the concept art to build a more well rounded understanding of the concept. I did this after the client submission with the intent on remaking these assets for fun with more detail based on the expanded concepts so stay tuned for an update.
